Applications:
- Clarification of an individual's inbreeding status in cases of unspecified general health issues.
- Development of a genome-based mating planning scheme for the preservation or improvement of genetic diversity in a breeding population
Generatio determines all 3 relevant parameters using a 60k array:
1) ROH profile: extent and location of inbreeding regions in the individual chromosomes
2) GIK = genomic inbreeding coefficient
3) Genomic heterozygosity (HE)
